They all have a mentor and are highly trained in the industry first before they begin their work. This family business began in July of 1993 in Old Town Alexandria and take takes part in various philanthropic events annually. These activities include collecting 25,000 pairs of footwear for those in need as well as planting over 10,000 trees. As an incentive to their employees, the offer them time off and 50% pay for the time they spend volunteering in the community.
